ABOUT DEZIGN IN

Dezign In. was established in 1997, and can best be described as a dynamic practice with a philosophy of design excellence at its core. Our team comprises members from a diversity of backgrounds, together striving to achieve this philosophy through a collaborative approach. All members are dedicated and passionate, allowing for a richness of ideas to be injected into all aspects of the individual project.

Originally purely an Architectural firm, Dezign In. has expanded to offer full turnkey solutions. With offices in Johannesburg, services include: Architectural, Interior Design, Urban Planning, Project Management and Construction. We specialize in full Turnkey solutions.

Dezign In. team offers an expanse of knowledge and experience across the architectural and project management spheres. We believe design excellence traverses the entire life cycle of the project, from inception to occupation.

Our designs are:

• rooted in a deep Phenomenological approach : creating a unique multi-sensory experience throughout every design. This is achieved by using a diverse palette of materials and textures, and spatial variances,
• both client and site specific : each design is approached on an exclusive basis, allowing for the both the clients character to permeate through the concept, as well as the distinctive characteristics of the site to both influence and be a dominant feature of the work,
• environmentally sustainable : we strive to incorporate the fundamental principles of Green Architecture, Energy Efficiency and Passive Design Techniques in all aspects of our work.
• We strive to be innovative and creative with regards to this facet of the design, creating solutions appropriate to the context and client budget, cognisant of the social context of the proposed works
• our desire is to encourage the upliftment of the local communities through education, training and employment opportunities during the construction process as well as thereafter.
